I have a lot of clean PAL format VOBs I would like to upscale using Topaz AI Enhancer but I don't know how to get rid of field blending. If anyone could help me, I would be so greatful and be able to upscale so many more videos.
If something was shot in NTSC 60i and what you have is a PAL 50i version of the same material - then you're out of luck - it's ruined beyond repair (if you want details - I can explain). Unfortunately, NTSC version is what you'll have to obtain - simply no way around it in most cases. A little sample of the video would let us see if something can be actually done or you shuoldn't waste your time.
The best you can do it's to find a native region copy, and pray it will in fact look better in terms of quality than the converted one, sometimes it doesn't for example Rihanna SOS NTSC ProRes it's so bad, full of rainbow and dotcrawl but the PAL ProRes it's flawless but it's not in it's native format sadly
