Hi there, I just joined and I must say it's the loveliest forum I have ever seen. I am going to make a nice tutorial here that would likely make download and ripping much easier for many people. All the tools I will quote are FOSS (free and open source) along with official project links. This guide will be updated from time to time. 1) First, you must have jdownloader2. Standard jdownloader has an adware. They officially promotes the "2" version as adware-free, and you can download it from here. It can be used mostly for downloading from filehosts including GDrive and Mega, but its not only that, can be used to download HLS (which we will come to soon) and you would need FFMPEG to mux. 2) You must have come across Mega time limits, usually occuring every 5GB but flexible. However there's an FOSS software called Megabasterd (ignore the name) which basically rotates proxy to circumvent the time limits. Your speed will still be limited to the "proxy bandwidth" but even then you can use multiple chunks and parallel downloads to saturate your line. You will need a proxy list in iport format, which are easily obtainable from various websites including github. After getting such a list, put in Megabasterd->Settings->Downloads->Use Smartproxy. You don't need to provide API although you will be asked at every run. 3) Youtube-DL and it's fork Youtube-DLP. These cover 1000s of websites and if you want you can run a GUI, my favorite is Youtube_DLG Hidden Content: You must either reply or click 'Like' to see the hidden information contained here. Otherwise some people like this too. Hidden Content: You must either reply or click 'Like' to see the hidden information contained here. 4) Particularly for Youtube Livestreams, use this. Set the cookie/login and set the quality to FLAC, add lyrics etc etc as you want. Every software either records the audio or convert the playlist to deezer and download from there. Only possible way I know is via Hidden Content: You must either reply or click 'Like' to see the hidden information contained here. I will be updating the tutorial from time to time. Cya.
