Hey, I need help with playing 360 RA audios wether wav or m4a on android devices, I've tried so many players of course vlc too, but unable to play.
AFAIK, Sony Xperia 1st generation and above can play 360ra files. For another Android, you must be encode the file using music media helper (if using windows) but only wav/flac format and only up to 7.1
There's android app that can work it's experimental, becouse as a matter of fact 360 rs is rebranded implementation of ac4 opensource competitor and it's named mpeg-h. This app is sometimes shitty but works https://store.lze-innovation.de/products/mpeg-h-wl-app-2-4 You can try find apk online but I wouldn't guarantee you that it's 100% safe, I got mine from this site for free, they gave producing tools also for free and they are powerful, something like atmos mixing. If you want heres these producer suite also for free from them https://store.lze-innovation.de/products/mpeg-h-authoring-suite-mas-5-3 And thees article explaining their relationship to sonys 360RA https://mpegh.com/applications/music/
You can use this online decoder to convert 360RA to WAV (from 2.0 to 22.2) https://run4r-ses.github.io/mpeghdeconline/
