You could use the ProRes or the SD vob from her DVD. Starlight Precise would give you a better results

 

Thanks for the tip. This took almost a whole day to do. I had a hard time trying to find a good source DVD for it unfortunately, so I just used the YouTube version and idk much about Vapoursynth.

 

Yeah I know how painful it can be.. For a Starlight Precise job (8~20 hours) you must download many SD versions to compare which is better before starting the process

What's your GPU? How long did it take you? I can't believe you made this in 8k and 4k, omg. Where do you look for sources?

 

From SD til 8K took me about 20 hours

 

Must be a good GPU then because I have a 5070ti and it took me about 18hrs for this to 4K.
