The good news; I managed to add Dolby Atmos songs to my Apple Music library on a Mac. The songs play Dolby Atmos on the Apple TV 4K. The only problem is that they are ineligible for upload to the Cloud. Initially I tried to add the songs I got from here without success. Then I tried to edit the metadata using dbPoweramp but funny enough, no metadata was showing up. I then tried mp3tag and could see the metadata but curiously I noticed mp3tag was showing them as mp4. So I changed them from m4a to m4v and tried again and wow the files were added. Tried playing on Apple TV 4K on Computers and yes it shows as Dolby Atmos. The fact that I can’t add them to the cloud is bummer though.
