Namie Amuro Music Video Collection Special 2018 ~Finally~ [WOWOW] (1080p HD)

Namie Amuro’s Music Video Collection Special 2018 ~Finally~, nearing a whopping 8-hour runtime, was more than a simple music video marathon... It was a farewell retrospective celebrating one of J-Pop’s most influential careers before her retirement on September 16, 2018. Tied to her Finally era and final tour, the special compiled over 100 videos spanning more than two decades, allowing fans to watch her complete artistic evolution unfold chronologically. From the colorful Euro-Pop and dance-heavy visuals of her 1990s Tetsuya Komuro era to the sleek R&B, Hip-Hop, and fashion-forward concepts of the 2000s and 2010s, the collection showed how consistently she reinvented herself while staying ahead of pop trends.

Viewers can see how dramatically Amuro’s image and music matured over the years. Early videos like "Body Feels EXIT" and "Don’t wanna cry" captured the youthful energy that made her a cultural icon in 90s Japan, while later works such as "WANT ME, WANT ME," "Dr.," and "Hero" showcased a far more refined and cinematic style. As her career progressed, her videos became increasingly sophisticated, blending choreography, high fashion, and international pop influences in a way that helped redefine modern J-Pop aesthetics.

What makes the special especially important today is that much of Amuro’s catalog has since disappeared from streaming services and official online platforms following her retirement. Because so much of her music and video discography is now difficult to access, this video collection has become almost archival for longtime fans. For die-hard followers, it stands as one of the few complete visual documents of her legacy — a rare opportunity to revisit the full scope of an artist whose work has gradually vanished from the digital world.

Note: Depending on interest and popularity, I also have her tours ripped from Blu-Rays (except one from 2003, which was only released on DVD) that I can share.
