2016-09-11: "Everybody got to have good lovin'" Grateful Dead 1978-09 - 13-14-15-16 Sphinx Theatre, Giza, Egypt NEW SOURCE: 2016-09 - 07-08 Uploaded by Daveschall to db.etree Full-song sound-samples down in the sands of the valley below. Source: Aud FOB, front row LFC, Sony ECM280 > Sony TC-153 cassette recorder Transfer: Master FOB Cassettes > Yamaha KXW9527 > Apogee AD1000 > Delta DiO 2496 > Samplitude 2496 > CDWAV > SHNv3 shn CD import > xACT for flac fingerprints and md5 verification > FLAC by Dave Schall Transferred and seeded by John jcdauria@biology.lsa.umich.edu http://sativa.etree.org Special thanks to "The Face" who taped the show in '78, and let me borrow his reel to reel tapes. What a family. Shouts to Jeff 'General' Patton for coming over with the Apogee. Thanks to Ophelia for the support during the transfer. (~);-} Note: The mics were hidden behind a cotton headpiece for most of the show. Levels may be muffled in certain places, and are not an artifact of the transfer. This is a real gem... I think [it] has some great moments. ____________________________________________________________________________________ Note too: For some reason the final track of 09-14 doubled back, repeating itself (instead of being 07:25, it was nearly twice as long). I edited it down simply with Audacity and switched it back into the file for you. -- mikedreams, 2016-09-10 Spoiler: SET LISTS 09/13/78 1.
