Contrary to my upscale of The Way I Am, in this one the grain is actually at 60 fps, because looking at the source, it was actually applied like that, after everything else. I had the ProRes 1080p master but it was the file that is on YouTube, so you can guess the, um... """quality""". So ended up using the VOB, and I believe it has turned out great. One downside: as the grain was actually 60 fps and refreshes itself every frame, the file size became huge. But as always, I didn't want to lose anything, so here you have a blu-ray-sized bit rate for a music video. I also need to talk about my method of uncensoring in this video. Normally, for videos this old, I would just stick with the censored audio with the changed lyrics. But Eminem isn't Eminem without his curse words, so I actually did mostly CD audio (the fully uncensored one), and when their mouths appeared in video saying some word specifically from the censored version, then I reverted to the audio of the censored (changed lyrics) VOB. This way we kept video sync, but staying as close as possible to the original music. Source: VOB + uncensored (changed lyrics) audio from the same LPCM VOB + actual uncensored audio from the CD FLAC + AC3 from retail DVD in some VERY specific spots where the sound effects were missing (like Eminem touching the TV glass from inside, and the "driving drunk" scene).
