it did confused me for aw while, cuz it was "perfectly" interlaced, and thats unusual for an old sd clip, at the beginning and the end of the scenes there usually are frames with only half fields. and whatever filter ur using for deinterlacing just deletes them all. anyone could check that from a vob or any original interlaced source.
anyway i did a comparison, anyone with an eye could tell this was from the mpg. and im not saying you dont have the real file maybe, u just didnt post the real one




(the right one with the scan lines little white bars are the original mpg, the left one with a poor quality, blurry and looks like its been denoised, but still coundnt erase all of the blocks and mosquito noise)
are u saying all these artifacts from compression already exists on the first copy of this video?

 

I would like to answer each of your questions but unfortunately I do not have a first generation copy. What he could tell you with complete certainty is that the analog and digital copy I can make a PERFECT DE-TELECINE (Inverse Telecine)

Okay, now if I understand you, I can tell you that it’s right, the file I published is not the original file, the original copies are noisy but you can't see those pixels.
