vhsrip may not good enough as you expect,maybe vhs source fron other Region is a bit better than the JP one here,there still unfixable issue for upscale.
here is a sample of my upscale form vcd(starlight mini - iris&nyx (compare and picking frams) -Photoshop),I have suspended this job since the tile artifacts cause by starlight mini,too many PS job LOL.....

the DAT one have issues at the end of 'J'irai où tu iras' and the begging of LCMM,while the MPEG one have issues on the other part that i dont remember,you may have to combine them.

BTW,if you gonna upscaling with topaz starlight mini x4 with prores output,can you share them? Im getting 0.3~0.4fps on 1280*960,and 0.1~0.2 fps on x4(1536*1152),x4 is better for sure,I just dont want to process the whole video with my poor 3090 again for a x4 output.

Im Not Upscaling On Topaz, I'm Using A Tova But Its Like Topaz So No Difference, Im Gonna Upscale By Songs In 4K 60fps And Upload It On My Channel and I'll Share To You The Raw File

havent try TOVA before,but only diffusion base module give good result as far as I know,ComfyUI-SeedVR2_VideoUpscaler may be a good choice if you have H100 or more powerful GPU

 

Well I Guess It Didn't Turn Out That Great On My Upscaling, The VHS One Still Giving Me A Good Look Than VCD Source, But The One That You Uspcaled Looks Great

 

I guess i have to stick to my (starlight mini - iris&nyx (compare and picking frams) -Photoshop) workflow,hoping that topazlab can fix the tile artifacts issue
