Genre: Electronic, Pop Style: Modern Classical, Vocal, Ambient Year: 2000 Video source: YouTube (Official 4K Music Video) Audio source: DVD - The Very Best Of Enya (2009) "Only Time" is a song by Irish musician Enya. It was released in November 2000 as the lead single from her fifth studio album, A Day Without Rain (2000). The song reached number one in Canada, Germany, Poland and Switzerland, number two in Austria, and became Enya's only top-10 single as a solo artist in the United States, peaking at number 10 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was featured in the soundtrack of the motion picture Sweet November. The song took on new meaning in 2001 as a 9/11 tribute song; Enya performed it on Larry King Live on November 8, 2001. This was a special program to commemorate the victims of the blackest day in America's history, and which featured among others the President, and the Mayor of New York. Enya confirmed to host King that the song was to be re-released on November 20 with all the proceeds going to the firefighters, America's finest, who lost over 300 officers to the atrocities. This version of "Only Time" was performed live from Los Angeles with an accompaniment of chorus and violins. The song's music video, which shows Enya performing the song in a spring, summer, fall and winter theme, was directed by Graham Fink. It was released in 2000. In 2020, to celebrate 20th anniversary of the recording, the video was remastered in 4K. Release Info The videotrack is ripped from YouTube (Official 4K Music Video).
