It seems that Tidal has found a way to encrypt master quality audio and music videos because I used to be able to download master quality audio and music videos from Athame, Allavsoft, and Tidal-GUI. Now, it seems that Tidal has found another encryption method to prevent me from downloading music videos and master quality audio from Tidal when I use programs to download music from Tidal. Am I the only one who is having this problem?
Athame: it has been discontinued, so you can’t download anything with it. Allavsoft: Be very careful with this program, it does not download music from TIDAL, nor from Spotify and even less from Deezer, it downloads audio from videos on Youtube and other platforms and converts to the chosen format, that is, it is fake lossless. Tidal-GUI: It still works, but you need a Hi-Fi account and a session authorization token from that account to be able to download MASTER flacs and videos in 1080p. I recommend that you use TIDAL py or TIDAL-Gui (Updated and with an active Hi-Fi account) and to download videos only use IDM. TIDAL py: https://github.com/yaronzz/Tidal-Media-Downloader/tree/master/TIDALDL-PY/exe TIDAL Gui: https://github.com/yaronzz/Tidal-Media-Downloader-PRO/releases IDM: https://dl.repack.me/s/r8se2FQ4oXkS4rq/download (pssw: repack.me )
Thank you. I will try the updated Tidal-GUI program with the active Hi-Fi account. And I will definitely try IDM. My Spek and Audiochecker programs checked the FLAC files that I have downloaded from Allavsoft, and those FLAC files seem to be lossless. But, I get what you're saying.
and don't forget that now both TIDAL Gui and TIDAL py need the account token to download music on MASTER. session authorization token, not account identification.
Yeah, the website that has the new Tidal-GUI version is telling me I need the Charles Web Debugging Proxy program and the Tidal Desktop program to find my access token to download M.Q.A. files. So, I'm figuring out how to download M.Q.A. files on my device now.
