In mega's Term of Service, it kind of states that files that are identical or exactly the same would be both deleted if found it to be copyrighted material.
So if we import file to our account, from shared public links, will mega delete the imported file when they delete the original file?
How can be avoid deletion of files on mega?

I've never had an issue with MEGA deleting my links.
However, I also don't go sharing all of them. I use it more as a way to backup my files.

I've had files however that I've imported from public links and they have all stayed in tact.

They should have no way to tell if two files uploaded independently by different users are identical, since they're encrypted with different keys. However, you should avoid importing copyrighted files from other accounts as they can delete entire import chains at once.

How fast is your upload speed? If it's too slow to download and reupload to another account, you can try using https://real-debrid.com/ (€4/month) and then https://save.thoaimedia.com/ to transfer the files to the other account, although that can be tedious if you have a lot of files. Also, make sure to change the target account's password afterwards just to be on the safe side, because for MEGA it asks for your password, not OAuth since I think MEGA doesn't support that.

Or you can use https://1fichier.com/, which allows for "unlimited" storage with a premium account (€10 for a year right now, they usually have a sale like this every year), and as an unwritten rule, about 30 TB of cold storage (i.e. files not shared / being actively downloaded by others) is allowed.

1fichier deletes files if it's inactive. That's what I don't like about it.

@Samuel With a free account, yes, but your files are never deleted for inactivity with a premium account unless you reach that unwritten ~30 TB limit.
