Hello, I'm like really obsessed with audio quality stuffs and I just want to make sure about what I read. Is it true that:

    1. After I converted WAV files to FLAC I will not lose any audio data? I mean the quality will not lessen? And...

    2. Is it also true that I can convert/revert FLAC to WAV without losing data or ruuning the audio quality? And it sounds or exactly the WAV file I have on the first place?

    Just like this:

    (a)WAV -converted to- (b)FLAC

    (b)FLAC -converted- (b)WAV

Is the (a)WAV will be the same sa the (b) WAV?

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Yes, but it depends on the program you are using for converting because old converters might not be stable.

This is really interesting question. In theory, there must be no difference. Lossless to Lossless = Lossless. Flac is compressed but lossless. Wav is lossless too, but uncompressed.
My conclusion is there's must be no difference at all, except file size. Btw I think original file will be always the best ;D
