i know the bigger number the better but still, in some case, it doesn't.
specially with tidal, it's hard to know, i feel like they use to push up their master but the quality is the same with 44.1/24 of the other sources. (like Beyonce's Lemonade)
anyway, i download it now, will check with my headphone
Make sure you are using the desktop app. Software MQA decoding supports up to 96kHz sample rate. Also make sure to disable hardware decoding of MQA in streaming settings - Tidal will just output 44.1/24bit if it cannot find a sufficient hardware decoder.
Perceptually, this version of the album will sound exactly the same as a 44.1/24bit versions, as the human ears can only hear up to 50kHz or so. If you mean that the audio has been resampled from a lower resolution, I'm doubtful of that. I inspected each of the tracks after ripping them and each of them had frequencies spanning into the 40kHz range.
